Feeding is one of the most critical elements that affects the rearing of poultry; for such reason Alimentsa takes special care in making sure that its diets comply with all the nutritional requirements of meat-poultry (protein, fats, vitamins, etc.) in order to take advantage of their genetic potential in what refers to weight, accumulated conversion and mortality.

Basic Composition :
Corn, soybean meal, rice polishings, palm-tree oil, fish meal, sodium chloride, premixed vitamins and minerals, anticoccidial, growth promoter, fungicides, antioxidant, blocker for microtoxines.
General Recommendations :
Starter: Supply this feed from day 1 to day 21 of age.
Receive chicks with a bed-level temperature of 30ºC to 32ºC; they may be initially placed over paper or canvas; water must be luke warm.
During their first week they should have tray-type feeders, minimum one for every 100 BB chicks. As of week 2 there should be 50 chicks per hopper.
Likewise, 1-2 one gallon containers per every 100 chicks; as of week number 2 these should be combined with automatic water dispensers, 1-1.5 per every 100 chicks.
Engorde (Weight-gaining): Administer this feed from day 22 until day 42 of age.
Raise feed containers to the height of their craw to avoid waste; minimum 30 chicks per hopper.
Automatic water dispensers must be placed; each for every 30-50 chicks.
Finalizador (Final growing): This feed is used from day 43 of age until they are sold. This type of feed assures heavier poultry and better accumulated and weekly conversion ratio.
